I'm a jazz/blues guitarist, singer, songwriter and recording artist. I was born in Middletow,Ohio right between Dayton and Cincinnati, Ohio. I started writing lyrics when i was n the fourth grade.I picked up my first acoustic guitar when i was nine years old.I was shown part of a blues song called 'Honky Tonk'. My family moved to Dayton where i was exposed to more music even though my mother and her sisters played piano and organ and sang in church,my uncles all played sax, trumpet and trombone and sang in church and the military. At twelve i had new friends in Dayton whose parents and relatives sang and recorded gospel records which interested me a lot because they used guitar, drums and bass.At twelve i started playing with gospel quartets & quintets traveling to cities like Atlanta, Chicago, Detroit, Louisville,Pittsburg, cleveland and many other cities.I later at thirteen started learning the blues and performed my first blues gig with 'Piney Brown'. At seventeen i had my first band 'The Ohio Twisters'. I went to the army and went to germany where i performed with the 'USO' on a Xmas tour for three weeks. I had a military band of guys on post where we would play for the company CO's parties, with the officers and their wives. It was an excellent way to get off of guard duty and KP. I returned home and played with a few good bands 'Big Jay Bush' and the 'House Rockers" and 'Little Dottie Peoples' famous gospel singer now. I was asked to join the group 'Heat Wave' and i pass
